Tastefully Tacky

Ladies, you can't let the bride-to-be head out without being properly accessorized! Remember that it's up to you to make sure that she is the center of attention wherever she goes. Does she need an inflatable penis or two to accent that hairdo? Try inflating some condoms with helium and attaching them to her for the night...you can be sure that no head will be left unturned. And, since you won't be inflating that entire box of condoms, get creative with the rest of them by trying them together with bows and making a broach, a corsage, or a hair accessory. In addition, instead of dressing her up in the normal "bachelorette" shirt or sash, write the word "BRIDE" in large letters on a white T-shirt. Then, write several random guy names all over the shirt. Tell the bride that she must find a guy with each of the names by the end of the evening and have sign the shirt next to his name and cross it out.

Scrap That Idea

You're ready to scratch all those raunchy girls night out ideas and plan something special, good for you. But what now? Plan a simple get together at your home. Set up appetizers, break out the girly drinks, and get ready for the memories. Instruct every invitee to bring as many pictures or peices of memorobelia having to do with the bride that they can. Make sure that you specify that these must be things that they are willing to part with (remind them that photos can be reprinted quite cheaply). Buy a large scrapbook and plenty of scrapping materials (you might ask the guests to bring some of these items as well). On the day of the party, dump all of the photos and items on a large surface and sort them in groups according to chronological order. Then, make a scrapbook using all of these memories. Have the girl that donated each photo or item write a personal message or anecdote next to it "I remember this day when you made me go that cheesy club so we could meet those guys " or "this is the ticket stub to that awesome Aerosmith concert that we snuck out to go to in the 10th grade." *A good tip is to have ample tissues lying around because you're all going to need them!

The Spa Treatment

Before a new bride slips into her naughty lingerie she'll want to get fresh and clean. Treat your bride-to-be pal with her own personal spa stash at her bachelorette party. Dirty Girl is a funky little brand that is sure to crack smiles with it's cleverly suggestive name. Get your gal pal a Dirty Girl spa kit (filled with soaps and lotions), a scented Dirty Girl Candle, A Dirty Girl foot kit, or some luscious triple whipped Dirty Girl body cream. As long as you're rolling with the relaxing spa theme, get your girl something to slip on when the honeymoon is over? What girl doesn't love comfy pajama pants and cute little tank tops? A girl doesn't have wear next to nothing to look sexy, afterall. Make sure that your girl is well equipped and comfortable on every night of her marriage.

Bachelorette Gift for Him?

At the end of the bachelorette party the bride with have armfuls of naughty gifts and each guests will have a goodie bag and a penis shape balloon. Wait a minute, aren't you forgetting someone? While it's true that the bachelorette party is all about the bride and her girls, hasn't the groom earned himself a little something too? In reality it's not just the bride's big day and it's a really nice gesture to arrange for the husband-to-be to have something to take home (aside from his partied-out bachelorette). On the invitations request that each guest bring one tool (it might be a good idea to specify which one so that you don't end up with six hammers and three screwdrivers). if all goes well you'll be able to present the groom with the new household's first complete tool set. Okay, you're probably on to me by now...we all know that the bride will benefit just as much as the groom from this gift. She'll be getting her very own handy man but he'll be too blinded by the good gesture to know any better.

Invite Etiquette

No matter how great of a ladies night out you planned, it won't happen unless you get those invitations out. Your bachelorette party invitations can look however you choose, but they should tie in with your theme and include all important information (place, time, attire, directions, atc.). If you want to save some time or money, electronic invitations via email are great options. If you go the electronic route you can avoid the postage costs and you can customize them. However, make sure that you follow up as some people don't frequantly check their email. Regardless of how you get those invitations out, they should mention what type of party will be going down (naughty or nice), so that there are no surprises. How naughty this fiesta becomes is up to you and your invitees. But, be considerate of all involved and try not to make anyone feel uncomfortable. *If you expect any contributions (money, gifts, or food items) you should mention that on he invitations as well.
