Goals

Words of inspiration: Goals are a means to an end, not the ultimate purpose of our lives. They are simply a tool to concentrate our focus and move us in a direction. The only reason we really pursue goals is to cause ourselves to expand and grow. Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in the long term; it's who you become, as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals, that can give you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfillment. (Anthony Robbins)

When we set goals for ourselves, we are challenging ourselves. It is these challenges that help us to grow and become stronger and more dynamic individuals.

Time

Words of inspiration: Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein. (H. Jackson Brown)

It is not enough to realize that some of the geniuses of the past shared the same number of hours per day as you enjoy. In order to achieve success you have to learn how to maximize this time. Those who are successful know how to focus and understand that procrastination is as detrimental to their success as critical mistakes in judgment. Use your time wisely each day and do not allow yourself to be idle.

Capital Asset

Words of inspiration: One realizes the full importance of time only when there is little left of it. Every man's greatest capital asset is his unexpired years of productive life. (P.W. Litchfield)

What you do with your life is one of the most important gifts you can give yourself. If you grow old and lament all that you didn¡¯t have a chance to do, then you have failed yourself. However, if you live out your twilight years fondly looking back at all that you have accomplished you can consider yourself a success.

Energy

Words of inspiration: You only lose energy when life becomes dull in your mind. Your mind gets bored and therefore tired of doing nothing. Get interested in something! Get absolutely enthralled in something! Get out of yourself! Be somebody! Do something. The more you lose yourself in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have. (Norman Vincent Peale)

Energy stems from interest. Motivating yourself to perform a physically simple task that is not mentally stimulating can be very difficult. Conversely you may find yourself bursting with energy to accomplish a task that is physically taxing if it also challenges your mind. When our minds are engaged, we are fully alive and have the energy to accomplish things we never dreamed.

Words of Inspiration

Words of inspiration: Treasure every moment! Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present!

These words can inspire you by helping you to understand that happiness comes from living in the moment. If you dwell in the past or agonize about the future you will miss the joys that are surrounding you right now.
